A:EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) communication is a process that may blackout screen for a few seconds. The recovery time depends on the laptop and monitor (1 minute at max). Please do not worry and be patient waiting for the data completed.

Q3:Why is there no audio output from the HDMI port?
A:1.Please make sure that is audio output function on the monitor .
2.Please set the external monitor as default audio output device.(System Preferences>Sound>Output: then change production).
