A:No.
Q2:Does this usb c hub still plug in well if you have a case on the MacBook Pro?
A:Dear customer, thanks for your interest in this Macbook pro Adapters. Sorry, we don't recommend to plug this USB C Hub into a Macbook Pro with a protective case.
Q3:Does this work on Linux?
A:I'm running Linux. I have a nice monitor. All I do is just plug in one cord and Boom! Everything works. Word of advice for both Linux and Windows user. If you want to use it as a docking port. You will need a Type 'C' Adapter of at least 85 watts or more to use Anker as a charger pass through. Of course you don't need to do this, it will power everything. But if you want the ease of just plugging in to use and charge your laptop, use the adapter.
