PTC — Polymeric Resettable Fuses

Polymeric Resettable Fuses (PTC) are designed to protect electronic circuits from overcurrent conditions. When the current exceeds a safe threshold, the fuse material increases in resistance, effectively interrupting the current flow. Once the fault is cleared, the fuse resets automatically.
